We believe in integration, and we are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner. We will do so by removing and preventing barriers to accessibility and by meeting our accessibility requirements under Ontario's accessibility laws.

Medican Staffing Inc. welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities. Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.

Medican Staffing Inc. reaches out to everyone to reflect and express a personal passion for opening doors and opportunities with reputable Canadian corporations and government for qualified persons with disabilities candidates. The reference to persons with disabilities as opposed to disabled is reflective of the fact that people with different limitations or restrictions prove to be very able and productive employees if presented with the opportunity.

Accordingly, in 2013 a major financial institutions survey revealed that Canadian employers found employees who have hired people with disabilities to be more engaged, more productive and more loyal than those without disabilities. However, it also found that a large number of businesses have never hired a person with either a visible or non-visible disability. The report goes on to suggest thatcompanies would benefit greatly from hiring more employees with disabilities.

We have worked with a number of agencies and government assisted associations, including Workplace Essential Skills Partnership (WESP), who specialize in pre-employment programs and training to people with disabilities. We also have partnered with Spinal Cord Injury of Ontario (SCIO), who specializes in individuals who have had a spinal cord injury. We have a number of qualified and remarkable candidates with experience in the areas of IT, clerical, administration and management.

Medican Staffing Inc. is committed to bringing to the forefront the opportunities for you, the corporation, and the qualified individual.

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act seeks to create an accessible Ontario by 2025. Accessibility Standards have been developed for five key areas of daily living: customer service, information and communications, employment, transportation and built environment.
